Rules & Requirements

The below described rules and requirements are valid for all mobilities in the frame of the FUSION project from Asia to LogDynamics at the University of Bremen (Uni-HB). All general details of the rules and requirements and the according details of the partners are available at or via the FUSION homepage at www.fusion-edu-apply.org.

Requirements
It is the responsibility of the applicant that all obligatory documents are uploaded. Applicants are requested to upload scanned versions of all original documents (transcripts of record, diploma, degree certificates, language certificates etc.). In addition, scanned versions of certified translations/official translations of all these documents into English or the language of the host country (for the University of Bremen: English or German) are obligatory. All selected scholars are advised to check with their host universities if there are specific deadlines for submitting original documents. Admission criteria of all partner institutions in the consortium have to be respected. All applicants need to check the general information sheet of the respective host university.

In case, applicants do not have all required documents at the end of the call (e.g. they don’t have obtained their degree yet, but will have obtained it once the mobility starts), they are asked to get in touch with the respective host university. In case the official FUSION contact person at the host university exceptionally agrees that some documents can be sent after the application deadline, this email conversation should be copied & pasted and uploaded in the online application as an explanation. In case the application is successful, scholars will be conditionally accepted and given a certain deadline in order to submit the missing document. However, applicants who have submitted complete applications by uploading all required documents will be favored.

The following minimum requirements need to be fulfilled by all FUSION scholars after selection. By submitting the signed invitation and acceptance letter from the host university, FUSION scholars agree to ad here to these minimum requirements. In case scholars are not able to fulfill the minimum requirements, they will not receive their last scholarship installment, i.e. the amount of one month of subsistence allowance.

UG & Master exchange students: for the University of Bremen a Learning Agreement (LA, additionally to listing courses) is mandatory (agreed before the mobility, signed, when the mobility starts at the latest). These planned research activities must be achieved.

Doctorate exchange, post-docs, staff: FUSION scholars need to successfully complete their planned SRTTA as described in their SRTTA plan. After the first academic year, PhD candidates need to submit an intermediate report to the supervisory team to evaluate the progress about their academic progress achieved at the host university.

PhD degree scholars: FUSION scholars need to successfully complete their planned SRTTA as described in their SRTTA plan. PhD degree scholars have to follow the entire procedure of the International Graduate School for Dynamics in Logistics (IGS), incl. examination etc. and the curriculum of a doctorate at the University of Bremen.
